Noodle King - NYC Restaurant Review

(Wanton Soup with Noodles, Shrimp Fried Rice, and General Tso's Chicken)
Noodle King at 19 Henry St (Downtown NYC) offers authentic Hong Kong style cuisine. This Chinatown restaurant is clean, quiet, affordable, and has very friendly and helpful staff.  I ordered Wanton Soup with noodles, Shrimp Fried Rice, and General Tso's Chicken which was all very good. If you want quality Chinese food at an extremely reasonable price check out Noodle King.

Rumba - Hampton Bays Restaurant Review

(Smothered Pulled Rib Taco, Calypso Steak Taco, and Fish Taco)
(Oysters Hampton, Duck Empanadas, and Rum Punch)
(View of the water from Rumba)
Rumba located at 43 Canoe Place Road in Hampton Bays is an amazing island inspired restaurant and rum bar.  With a beautiful location on the water, delicious food, a friendly staff, fun Caribbean style ambiance, and awesome rum punch Rumba is a winner!  This time around we started with the Oysters Hampton (Golden fried Oysters, creamy Reggiano Spinach dip, and Garlic Aioli) and Duck Empanadas (Duck, peppers, spicy queso inside a crispy pastry) which were truly outstanding.  As a main course I had a selection of three tacos, one Smothered Pulled Rib Taco, one Calypso Steak Taco, and one Fish Taco.  Three different unique flavors, but all extremely tasty and well prepared.  These tacos are unlike what people may expect when compared to traditional Mexican style tacos, but as a thing of their own certainly found a place in my heart (and stomach).  Rumba is a perfect stop after spending a day at the beach for a great meal and drinks.  Rumba Website

Brewster's Seafood Market - Hampton Bays Restaurant Review

(Striped Bass Fingers from Brewster's Seafood Market)
(Jumbo Fried Clam Strips from Brewster's Seafood Market)
(New England Lobster Roll with French Fries from Brewster's Seafood Market)
Brewster's Seafood Market at 252 East Montauk Highway in Hampton Bays is a great authentic seafood market and restaurant in the heart of the Hamptons.  As a contrast to many of the other establishments in that area Brewster's offers top quality fresh food, in a comfortable casual environment, at reasonable prices.  It is also a nice place to for children since they have tanks full of fish and other interesting sea creatures.  This weekend we had some favorites, starting with an order of Jumbo Clam Strips, and Striped Bass Fingers which were amazing as usual.  As a main course I always go for the New England style Lobster Roll served with crispy French Fries.  The Lobster Rolls are made from fresh live Lobster, with Mayonnaise, and Celery, on a White Bread Bun, classic and delicious.  All around Brewster's is a great place, with friendly attentive staff, and is highly recommended to any one passing through the Hamptons.   Brewster's Seafood Market Website

Mary's Fish Camp - NYC Restaurant Review

(Lobster Roll with Shoe String Fries from Mary's Fish Camp in NYC)

Mary's Fish Camp at 64 Charles Street in downtown Manhattan is a cool, trendy, New England style seafood restaurant.  Having lived in Eastern Long Island we are passionate seafood lovers, Mary's Fish Camp offers a more fancy version of traditional "Seafood Market Style" food in a cozy setting.  Every time we eat there it is a great experience and the staff is very friendly.   Last night we started with the Fried Oysters and Clams with Fish Camp Tartar Sauce, and Canadian Steamers with Drawn Butter, and as the main course we had Lobster Rolls with Shoe String Fries.  As usual the flavor and presentation of each plate was wonderful.  If you are looking for quality seafood in New York City and a great overall dining experience, check out Mary's Fish Camp.  This place does get packed at times so to avoid a wait try to get there early, or go during the week.    Mary's Fish Camp Website
